Started FF4 on DS and can we talk about how spectacularly adorable the frog status is?

I honestly expected it to be very similar to FF3 DS considering the proximity of the releases in time but wow. This game is so much more feature rich and the attention to detail is superb. Having a great time and really looking forward to playing it more.

I already cheated a bit to skip some early game grinding (2x exp and 2x gil) but the balance of FF3 DS was so solid I have high hopes that will be the case for ff4DS too.

There is already so much more narrative than the first three games and I'm starting to see why people are so big on this game. It really feels like the story in 4 and the job system from 3 are really adding up to what fans more broadly consider a "modern" Final Fantasy title. Can't wait to see how it evolves as I get deeper into the series.

I LOVE Final Fantasy. My favorite game is FF8 because gunblades and dinosaurs and hot teachers.

Confession: I never beat one before.

I chose to rectify this one game at a time starting with FF1 and it's been so fun. I'm very near the end of FF3 now and the evolution of the series is really starting to show itself. Really looking forward to FF4 as people generally seem to agree it's the first "good one."

Looking for Final Fantasy moots who don't actively try to be angry about video games. Weird little folks and freaks are welcome here. 🧡

I’m playing sailor moon: another story again! It was my introduction into the series, and I really love it! I’m going to make myself feel better, dammit!
