Gonna go further -  my favorite faves are: “'I Remember (Death in the Afternoon)“, “Sleepwalk”, “The Voice”….. In fact both “Vienna” and “Rage in Eden” albums. Synth pop heaven!

The US law is the problem, I guess. What does it mean he felt he was in danger? He’s f*cking policeman, he should grab him and knock him down and lead to the court. Brown was far from being innocent. But he was unarmed. The law - that is the point.

i did a little test with ur poem - i read the first line, then the last, then the second, then the last but one etc and the midpoint of ur poem is the end of it - sounds really good too, try it. Btw - first line is my fave - full of emotion.

That was an interesting experiment. It brings to mind me wanting to try that with some of my other poems.

I really like it but without last two lines it would be more.. uncertain and hazy, enigmatic and force us to guess what the speaker of a poem thought and felt. But the idea and vocab are beautiful!
