"I worry for him Lucia." The ebony haired Elezen sighed, rubbing at his forehead from his seat behind the large mahogany desk he seemed trapped to more often these days. "But you know how he is." Aymeric murmured quietly, his quiet sapphire gaze blankly staring at the wall in front of him, utterly lost at what to do with their ever troublesome acquaintance.
"The eye may not curse him no longer but I fear he has yet to figure that part out. Ever the stubborn mule."
“He’s been missing for a week now since I last saw to him in the infirmary and still naught but a word...Even this paperwork has very little strain on my attention when it comes to my fear for his well being. Perhaps I’m being but a daft fool. Perhaps he’s fine...” Finally he broke from his trance into oblivion to stare up at her patient gaze.By the Fury, how long had he been sitting here rambling to her? Guilt suddenly traced over his handsome face and he was quick to look away with a sheepish chuckle.
“Ah...my dear friend. I find myself ranting to you more often these days. Pray, forgive me and my careless display of emotions.”
@lucunius continued from here (if you fancy threading off the ask): xx
There were times that the Warrior wondered if he might not have been better off just not asking. On more than one occasion, in a bid to be helpful or an ear to talk to, he wound up stuck in conversations that he’d really rather not have. He didn’t know Lucia very well, knew of her relationship to Livia even less and yet he was probably the only one who might have the answer she sought.
Even if it was one he didn’t want to give.
“She did not,” he finally replied, looking and sounding pained. “She cared for nothing but the approval and attention of Gaius, even at the end,” he informed her, sounding as though he regretted that it had gone the way it did. Livia sas Junius was fanatical in her devotion to Gaius though and even her impending death had been unable to alter her views.
“I’m sorry,” he added, ears low. “I wish I could tell you that she thought of you in her final moments but I would be lying if I did. Her final words were for him.”
lucunius replied to your post ““Gaius is a beautiful man and I naught regret saying such words out...”
Lucia pinches the bridge of her nose, shaking her head in disbelief.
“I blame you for not hiding it well enough.”
