So yonks ago, I had the idea in my head of a second story that follows after Traveller's. I began to brainstorm this whole new plot, characters, challenges and what not.
Since it probably won't come to fruition, cause life is busy and i just don't have the time to dedicate to a whole new story, I thought it might be interesting to chuck up a sorta 'if i had the time and energy to make a whole new story' kinda deal here.
So yea, this is the tale of 'The Wanderer'
The plot would be similar to Traveller's story, starring Lucy, the arceus turned Giratina.
Lucy is a broken arceus, having been striped of his 'godpowers' and would venture the galaxy hunting and absorbing other arceus to claim their powers back.
In this world, each arceus is deigned with a universe of their own, which come in the form of actual physical items, which follow the microscopic universe theory, so like an arceus holds an orb, inside that orb is a galaxy which inside that galaxy is another arceus which will then get their own galaxy, forming a never ending chain of galaxies. This would come to be known as 'The Chain.'
Lucy wanted to engage with the mortals inside his own universe, but that risked breaking that chain, which 'The Father' would absolutely forbid. He was sentenced to have his galaxy destroyed, so in a desperate attempt to save it he, freakign ate it. That underbelly of his, is literally a galaxy. Having grown and expanded over time, to encompass his own body. This was sorta a beta-Traveller idea I had at the start of her story actually.
Seeing this, his arceus kin saw a greater punishment opportunity, and striped him of his powers, preventing him from possessing those god powers, but more importantly to him, the ability to create 'paradoxes.' He wanted to live along side those inside his universe, but now he literally cannot. You can't just teleport inside yourself.
So he hunts those arceus that striped him of his power, in hopes of reclaiming those abilities. His goal being to simply teleport into his universe that now exists and thrives inside him, not only as a big middle finger to those that punished him, but to escape that 'chain' of universes that the other gods put into effect.
Each chapter would have revolved around Lucy hunting down a particular arceus for their power, each having certain titles, but it wasn't gonna be a huge story, 5 chapters, only enough for like a year at most.
The Tyrant
The Trickster
The Scholar
The Father
The Traveller (Yes, THAT Traveller)
the blog would more or less go the same way Trav's did, go find an arceus, absorb their powers and so on. 'The Father' chapter would have been the penultimate chapter where he confronts the arceus one step in the chain above him, in which he finds the universe he's been travelling all this time was metaphorically locked in the attic.
One honestly and almost realistically anticlimactic fight with 'The Father' whom after many years had forgotten they had a universe entirely. He would regain those god powers and have one final arceus to confront...
'The Traveller'
He would visit Traveller's planet, and rather than fight them or anything like that, he'd just hug and embrace her...
It would be revealed that he succeeded his goal of teleporting inside his own universe, that being, Traveller's universe. This would have been the blog's 'big reveal' so to speak, and how it connected to Traveller's story.
The universe inside him all this time was Traveller's.
He's Traveller's father.
His whole journey has been to escape the chain, and finally meet his child.
