Jay knocked lazily on his sister’s dorm door and as soon as the door opened, walked inside. “Luc, you got my gameboy in here?” He asked, peering around the shared room. He’d not been inside Lucy and Reagan’s room before and was interested to see how they’d decorated it. It didn’t quite look like the little girl’s room back in Scotland. “I know you like to steal it when you get bored.” He commented, something he always said when he lost things, ‘Lucy took it’.

When Reagan woke at noon, rolled onto her front and read the text from the school (how the hell did they get her number?) she hopped up onto her knees, sitting on her ankles. “Babe, babe,” Reagan called over to Lucy, she hadn’t even checked whether her friend was still in bed, “Another snow day, they’re telling us we can’t leave the building!” She whined, shoulders slumping. “What are we meant to do all day then, that’s so shit.” She chucked her phone down into her duvet in frustration, leaning over to grab a pair of knee highs and pulled them on. “Are they bringing food to us then? I don’t know how much we have left in here.”
