March Meet the Maker day 4 Tools & Materials I have lots of tools, lots and lots of tools but in reality most of the time I use the ones I have in this picture. Mainly they are very simple; home made needle and drill tools, a knitting needle, a scalpel, an acrylic roller. I am fussy about my blades and my 3 favourites are Donna Kato's T blade because it is short, sharp and thin, the @lucyclaytools one as it is sharp and rigid and the black coated blades as they slice nicely too. I like to have a good quality pasta machine so I have an Atlas and a @lucyclaytools Mammoth (too big for this picture 😄). As a cane maker I would be without my @lucyclaytools Slicer - it makes my canes go much further and cuts down on sanding. My favourite polymer clay is Kato Polyclay - it's nice and firm which makes making canes easier. I do work with other brands sometimes too. (You may noticed I skipped day 3 - flatlay. I've never set up a flatlay before and I'm very short on time. I'll give it a go next month perhaps) #carajaneuk #polymerclay #lucyclaytools #Katopolyclay #polymerclaycanes #tools #polymerclaytools #marchmeetthemaker #donnakato (at Bristol, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/BumSaF_FwSo/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=16nzxp9pd5ex4
