One fragment at a time.
"As I watched you packing your bags, I gazed at the largest one, wondering whether I could fit inside it. Maybe, if I did, you could take me with you."
"Take Me With You", 2016 Graphite on Paper Fine art prints available, please contact me for details.
For a long time, I believed I could only be an artist once I had found my voice. Through this search, I heard many voices, but I could never find my own.
Eventually, I accepted my failure, and instead of looking for my voice, I embraced the silence.
Within this silence, I’ve found everything I was looking for.
I never found my voice, but within the silence I’ve found art, and within the art I’ve found myself. That’s when I fully understood what it meant to be an artist.
They will tell you to find your voice, but I tell you differently - Embrace the silence.
