GOLDEN GRAVITY
When I painted this piece, I imagined light dancing across the surface like sunlight on morning dew. Seven metallic spheres — planets emerging from a chaos of golden drips. Each texture paste droplet took a week to dry: did you know this technique demands patience? Rush it, and the shadows “break,” losing their magic under angled lighting. No line here is accidental — even the splatters guide your gaze from highlights to shadows, like a spiral. Fun fact: 3D texture is a conversation between painting and sculpture. The canvas becomes a map where every ridge casts its own story.
