15. Do you let people read your rough drafts?
Sometimes, if I’m feeling really bad about it, I show my Mum for advice on how to improve. If it’s my regular ‘oh Lord this is so bad’, then it stays to myself.
16. What do you do with your rough drafts once you write a new draft?
Rough drafts I have on paper are all shoved together in a folder, with quick and crappy titles to remind me what they are. On the computer, rough drafts are usually written over as I edit, or I delete the file when I don’t need it anymore, and open a new document.
17. How do you handle writer’s block?
Ask for prompts. If it’s writer’s block for just one specific story, I just work on a different fic until the inspiration strikes again.
18. How many stories do you work on at one time?
I always have at least three Word drafts open when working on WIPs, that way, if I lose my train of thought for one story, I can switch to another just to keep writing (otherwise I end up here on tumblr and I don’t write much at all).
19. Do you write from beginning to end, or jump around in your story?
Unless there’s a specific scene I really want to write (usually the scene I thought up and started the whole story for), I write from beginning to end.
20. What is one thing you would never do in a story or to a character?
Any personal triggers, with the occasional exception of suicide/attempted suicide.
