Calem pads across his dorm room towards a large Absol asleep in a very large, very fluffy pet bed, paws sprawled out haphazardly.
"This is going to sound strange, but my aunt got Absol for me, as one of my first Pokémon. He was meant to help me ward off disaster -" He laughs weakly, and peers out into nothingness for a few seconds
