In a cartoon in a prominent German anti-fascist politics and culture magazine, a woman in a bath relives her visits to the Italian seashore under Mussolini. She asks her partner to hum an Italian fascist march to remind her of their time there. It's a comment on apolitical bourgeois Germans who consume Italian fascism as amusing holiday atmosphere while the realities — at home and abroad — pass them by.
