This was about the spot where we pulled over in Wyoming and realized the shit was serious. An abandoned motel parking lot with an equally empty gas station, advertising gas prices we can only dream about. It would be some time later, that we made it to Casper and took everything apart to find an overly excited caliper piston and a pad down to bare metal. It was ‘NOvercrest’ for us, ultimately. We’ve been asked to pen a piece for the @pca_chicago magazine about our travels that we already view fondly, though we were robbed of the rally experience. We took the car and will continue to do so.
