Parents in temporarily occupied Luhansk region are facing threats of having their newborns taken away in hospitals unless either parent has russian citizenship.

One of the biggest lies Russians feed to people in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Crimea is:

"Ukraine abandoned you. Ukrainians hate you. Ukrainians see you as separatists."

In 2014, they came without insignia, spread rumors that Ukrainian tanks were supposedly coming to "kill Russian-speaking people"(and other ugly rumors), then they looted, seized control, civilians were kidnapped and disappeared by Russians, and after all that Russians act like:

"Hmm… we're separatists and people call us separatists… wait, what if we project that onto the local people and claim Ukrainians are calling THEM separatists instead? 🤔 Perfect!"

I sympathize with everyone who lives and fights with this information vacuum created by the Russians.
