Standing in front of the building Luis looked at himself in the glass, “See this is why I don’t like people.” He hadn’t been anywhere near the fight that had broken out but in passing he was a casualty in the damage. If there hadn’t been as many humans around as there were he probably would have killed him. “It’s not really as bad as it looks it is?” He’d tried to clean up as much of the blood as he could but the cut was still kind of deep.
Tapping his fingers against the table he stared at Mei, she was off doing something with her date. Some blonde kid. He wasn’t jealous, Luis didn’t do jealousy. But the fact that he’d pushed his pride away TWICE and asked her to go with him and she refused. Or didn’t understand. He didn’t know what the actual case was but it pissed him off. She was just supposed to be some insignificant human and she had so much power over him. He hated it and he hated her. Luis wasn’t used to rejection, he’d never put himself in that kind of situation before and when he did, it actually happened. He was bitter and there was no reason for him to say anything to her tonight.
That didn’t stop him from doing exactly that however. He’d stood up and made his way across the room to talk to her. He wasn’t going to show her or anyone else that it bothered him that she went with someone else. He was here with Niko. He knew Niko and he wasn’t as breakable or useless as Mei. He wasn’t always in his head like Mei was either. “So you found a date? Is he your boyfriend?” A completely innocent question. @criiedpower
“I wasn’t told dancing was a part of this.” Luis let out a huff as he looked at Niko. “I don’t know how to dance, it wasn’t ever really important in the ocean.” Maybe he should have assumed that would be the case with a gala but he’d never actually been to one. His time spent on land was reserved for other things. “Are these things Hunters do all the time?” Niko wasn’t that much of a hunter anymore but Luis was confident that he would be again. After his curse was lifted he’d be back to... killing supernatural things again eventually. “You do know you’ll have to teach me if you want to dance right?” @rejec
