Anna Tsygankova Анна Цыганкова as “Lady Macbeth” and Giorgi Potskhishvili გიორგი ფოცხიშვილი as “Macbeth”, “Lady Macbeth”, choreo, co-direction and treatment by Helen Pickett, direction and treatment by James Bonas, music by Peter Salem, set and costume design by Luis F. Carvalho. Based on “The Tragedy of Macbeth” by William Shakespeare, Het Nationale Ballet Dutch National Ballet, Het Muziektheater, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Note I: “Lady Macbeth” represents the historical figure “Gruoch ingen Boite”, who was queen consort of Scotland, while “Macbeth” represents the historical figure “Mac Bethad mac Findláech”, King of Scotland, and Lady Macbeth’s husband, from August 1040 to August 1057.
