hey guys, sorry it's been a minute! midterms have really gotten us in the trenches. explanation below the cut, it's not venty or anything but it is personal and rambly so i'll spare people the details if they don't want to read! tl;dr we'll hopefully be coming back a little more frequently in the coming days, and please pray for us!

i won't lie, we had a small crash out and left all of the polytheism-focused discord servers we were in, which was hard but probably for the best. as nice as it was to have channels dedicated to advice for different religions, i don't think it's a very productive place for us to stay in when our religion is so personal to us. the thing that caused us to leave was a trial mod being strict about something that, at the risk of sounding entitled, really wasn't an issue at all lol. but really it kind of built up, public discord servers can be really hard and i think we need to prioritize 1:1 meaningful relationships rather than looking for (usually chronically online) strangers to validate us. it was my fault though, i was the one to join all these servers when the rest of the system was telling me VERY CLEARLY not to fgjkgf

we've also been struggling with midterms. we have a really big midterm coming up, and frankly our grades have not been great. we've been trying to both study and take care of ourselves, but it's really hard for us to do both, so it's been a struggle to care for our mental, physical, and spiritual health all at once. because of that we've also fell behind on prayer, which is really sad :( we also mistakenly bought into some etsy witch readings (thankfully not That expensive) because we were just really desperate to be validated and ended up being disappointed. the good thing is that when we put aside everything other people were telling us and just focused on our own religion and connection to the universe, we felt a sense that the gods really aren't upset at us for falling behind. i think they know we're trying our best.

aisling has been feeling the dagda's presence with her a lot the past few days, which is really nice, and i've been trying to reach out to apollo in little ways. we have a very basic little altar set up, and we're keeping the nonperishable offerings on it as long as we can. annalise has been trying to find a time to make a longer, more emotional prayer since that's something really important to her, but we've been so stressed that it's been hard. i'm really hoping after we have our midterm we can just completely decompress and spend a little time caring for our souls.

if you've made it this far, i'd really appreciate some prayer. it would be amazing if you are devoted to the same gods as we are and can put in a good word so to speak, but any positive messages sent out in the universe would be awesome. pray for our midterms and for our spiritual journey, and for finding our path back to a little bit of rest.

Update!!! We got a tarot reading done by someone in a discord server that we’re in, and it was honestly very encouraging. We’re trying to learn how to do tarot ourselves, but since we’re struggling without app assistance and the reading was free, we asked for a reading invoking the Dagda and Eir. The reader said both of them had incredibly calm and kind energies, which we’ve also been noticing in our work with them. Ofc she gave the disclaimer that she was new to deity messages and it was just her interpretation of the cards, but what she shared with us is super meaningful and it made us really happy :) ~🪽

IM SO HAPPY GRAH I’ve been trying to connect with my gods and it was really validating to have that message from them >:D WE ALSO ORDERED OUR OWN DECK OF CARDS!!! So we don’t have to use digital decks anymore and hopefully can work towards interpreting them ourselves. Gonna spend sometime outside today and pray bc I pray best outside. Stay winning we’re so cool guys ~🐉
