i’m feeling like posting Lulani rn so:

[Some Order™️ associate knocks Lulani’s flat, intending to summon io for some random ass meeting ]

[Luka opens the door, and immediately wish he hadn’t open it]

Luka: ..Yes?

o.a: is Mr. Tori here? he is needed in the administration hall immediately.

Luka: By Jane ?

o.a: no, by the associates of the Order’s school affairs department .

Luka: he is sleeping.

o.a: well wake him up , he has duties that are needed to be attended to.How many times does he need to be reminded of his position as the moon phoenix to act responsib-

Luka: I won’t wake him

o.a: e-excuse me?

Luka: he is resting. i won’t wake him up

[the associate is shook from the audacity ]

o.a: stop this foolishness and fetch him for me, young man

Luka: no.

o.a: I- who do you think you are exactly?

Luka: his friend?

o.a: and you are only that. get the boy, now.

Luka: …

the board can wait till he’s awake.

[once again, they’re shookth]

o.a: you have no right to interfere in the affairs between the moon phoenix and the Order!

[Luka just stares at them for a while,

then closes the door]

o.a: Hey!

how dare you! open the door right now!

[Io emerges from their bedroom, awakened by the commotion, rubbing his eyes and rocking the most adorable bedhead]

Io: is everything okay?

Luka: you’re awake.

io: kinda hah, who’s at the door?

[ The order™️ associate started banging at the door]

O.A: open the door immediately!

[Luka is visibly pissed off while io opened the door ]

O.A: Open the door or your behavior will be reported directly to your-! oh.

Mr. Tori, you finally showed your face.

Io: oh hello, what’s the matter?

[ The associate glares daggers at Luka then began explaining to io what brought them to him in the first place]

io: i’ll be there in a minute, just let me get ready.

O.A: very well.

and, do keep your flatmate in line Mr.Tori.

outsiders should not meddle with your duties as the moon phoenix.

[Luka proceeded to give the associate the nastiest glare known to mankind]

io: why not? doesn’t outside interference generate a wider perspective to given subjects?

O.A: enough with the silly propositions! get moving

this would take place during Luka's and Vaughn's detective mission in the third book , because Io is such a worry wife i feel he would use his moon's eye view power to check on his hubby ( on Vaughn too cuz besties✨)

[Evaughn finds Iolani in a secluded cold cave near a inner waterfall ]

Io: …you shouldn’t have found me

Eve: well, excuse us for wanting to know where you up and gone to.

io:..you should go back to the island,

Eve: not until you come with us.

Io: i..can not unfortunately..

Eve: and why is that?

Io: ... Eve: well?

Io: ...how come you try with all your might for hurt to be undone

Just for it to be rooted deep within your every action, every dream , every thought every want every need every- everything that is you! [Iolani takes a breath]...your whole existence is entangled in it ... even in another's..

Io: i'm not coming , Vaughn. For the sake of everyone, for ..Luka ….and for me..too

[ Eve is disheartened to see Io like this. The determined ,hopeful and perspicacious friend he knew reduce to hopelessness and utter despair. Just like him once upon a time before he knew this light ; this light that illuminated his little dark corner that is his being and brought him needed company. And where Io succeeded in helping him escape , here he is standing utterly powerless against his friend's plight ]

[io looks at him with a blurred vision, trying to not break down in front of him]

(to say luka was disheartened was an understatement , he was completely crushed to small pieces. And every piece yearned for his friend. )

Luka didn’t want to be aggressive with Io, he didn’t want to use manipulative and underhanded methods to make Io give in, but..

good god he just want him to come back, back to his arms ,back to their bed where they would hold each other if the other had a nightmare

to their room where they hang out, cooked meals for each other , talked , dreamed, laughed, cried

just.. just being there

he want them to come back to their safe haven in the woods , relive the precious moments they had.

Pipa: "did you like it back home on the island?" ( an innuendo that iolani has made a home back at school for them despite it’s problematic environment)

Io: "….i don’t know ,Pipa" he doesn’t want to lose anymore of his small home to the strong wind that is himself.

pipa: "…do you..want to go back to your village?"

(he can’t go back there anymore, due to his father)

Io: "…i can’t even if i want to."

Nash covers io with his jacket, Jiro has brought with him food for him and Vijay attempts to sooth him with soft scolding ” io you should have not ran away like that””what if you got hurt? how would’ve we known that? this is too reckless of you” “ i almost died worrying about you “[fitting of an indian moma]

[Pipa’s , with the prey gang, attempt at convincing Iolani to come back with them]

OKAY so Vater ? the high rank hunter? Luka's fam killer? THAT POS?

yah imagine he's iolani's daddy

gosh family reunions must be awkWARD-

on a serious note tho there's a lot of speculations that Vater might be Iolani's father( his name is LITRALLY father in german-). So I'd imagine there would be some angst with finding out that your flesh and blood is a murderer 😬 Oh! and also your one and truly's family murderer and the cause for his suffering!

But also i would imagine Luka being astronomically overprotective of io lmao, like holding Iolani and glaring daggers at Vater afsdfgdafd

ALSO also imagine Vater's reaction when finding out that your own son is a whole ass winged ( a HIGH ranked one too) that his whole career is built around killing them-

tbh i won't be surprised if he doesn't hesitate to hunt his own son

My prediction for book three ending would be :

As hunters surround the Hearts from all angles shrouding the land with their shadows, hunting every one of them violently

[Jerry shields Luci and Dmitri with his wings from hunter assaults while Luci protecting an injured Dmitri ]

[Abby & Aaqil fighting together against the hunters]

[An injured Shri trying to find any one of her classmates ]

[Meryl barely fighting off assaulters with her cassowary ]

[Odile and Odette screaming for each other to make sure the other’s alive]

[Evaughn panicking because he lost Luka and can’t find him and trying to get himself together so he can find a way out for his friends ]

[Luka heavily injured in the midst of the smoke ,on the ground as the dark™️is slowly taking him out , dreaming about watching the moon in a treehouse..]

And then in comes Io crashing the smog as Luna,shrieking as a warning , sending some of the hunters away with his landing. Splitting from Luna’s form, Iolani started looking for his friends while Luna shields him from the dark fog.

Using his link he reached out for them and told them to try to follow the light, they all said they couldn’t.

Io found Luka laying down on the ground in the deep abyss and wasted no time running to his side.

“Luka! Luka it’s me

i’m here.. i’m here now” he held his upper body under his left arm and cradled him on his thighs

weakly, Luka opened his eyes to seek out that voice he well adored and cherished “….Io..?”

“yes, yes i’m..” he couldn’t finish his reassurance, chocked up by the relief that his friend was alive.

He started to heal his wounds, all while saying soothing promises. Reaching up, Luka’s shaky hand found the moon phoenix’s face. He caressed it feeling the soft yet coarse  skin on his fingers, conforming that this is real , that this isn’t a hallucination that resulted from his blood loss

Taking a shaky breath, he began to smile widely at his companion, his vision started to go blurry but he didn’t care ; Io’s safe and sound and he’s with him now.

“you’re safe now

you’re okay

we’re gonna get out of here”

Iolani turned to Luna, who was warding off the smoke away from them, and told her to brighten herself for the others to find their way

“we’re all going to get out of here”

What if Eve,Luka,Io and Jing shared a flat and took care of each other and relaxed together

Like Evaughn (being the group mom that he is) takes care of the meals+groceries and Luka helps him with the groceries while Iolani and Jing ( being akin to rulers essentially according to book three[FS:hunter]) working together to take care of work related stuff , and after that join the boys for lunch/dinner to chill and talk (and perhaps trauma bond why not).

i also thought about adding Pipa into the mix but i don’t think she would take kindly to living with the person who caused her trauma (Evie) and also s’not healthy for my boy too
