she is a komondor and her name is brie!! after the french cheese ehe komonodorok look like THIS btw.

they were bred to have fur that mats into flocks like this, in order to protect them, as their job is to guard livestock from predators:)

laf has one of these because he loves stylish dogs, he's a dog groomer in this AU! he also has two little papillons, and im THINKING he might have a newfoundland x chesapeake bay retriever mix who he adopted.. hm

i inverted his outfit colors and trapped him in prison. enjoy

(ok but actually tho my intention behind placing him in a box was . its meant to represent how aaron burr has placed himself in a box. and now he wants to get out, but he can't, because he's the one who's restricted himself. except he CAN get out, as shown by his little cape thingy clipping through the box. trapping himself is a deliberate choice, but he is simply not aware of that)

hi gangalang ... gently places down my hamilton dog au

this au is called my dog speaks more eloquently than thee (dsme!) i've developed a TON of stuff for this au but it's all very messy and all-over-the-place so i'll just be posting scattered ramblings and hoping that it'll make sense </3 this au is modern, btw!

alexander has an australian cattle dog mix named stopwatch. stopwatch is ~50% australian cattle dog, while the rest is an amalgamation of supermutt. (his neck and tail stripes are the result of merle patterning!)

stopwatch is SUPER hyperactive, hence his name. he has a habit of bolting whenever he sees something interesting, and not coming back for hours unless he gets found. he LOVES chasing things

stopwatch's right ear is floppy, and whenever he notices something that captures his interest, it goes straight up, and it's a tell-tale sign that he's about to bolt in the next .1 seconds (i'd like to think that alexander has gained an unconscious reflex to automatically tighten his hold on the leash whenever he sees stopwatch's ear perk)

alexander himself is a dog trainer. he grew up in the caribbean, but gained money to move to america to work at the most prestigious dog company: king-9 enterprise! owned by a man known as "king george"

long story short, this king-9 enterprise thing is actually kind of evil and unethical, and dsme's plot revolves around alexander and his friends trying to take them down

oh yeah fun fact, alexander carries around a HUGE backpack that has everything in it, especially dog stuff. he ALWAYS has extra collars, leashes, dog food, muzzles, literally anything

alexander first found stopwatch when alexander landed in new york city for the first time. it was pouring rain, and stopwatch was an itty bitty puppy. but NOT a helpless one! from the start stopwatch was super confident in his surroundings. when alexander found him, tiny little stopwatch just kept walking through the city like he knew where he was going, and alexander (soaked from the rain, because of course out of all things he has, he did NOT have an umbrella) just followed him. stopwatch leads him to a dry alley, and that's how they spend their first night together

alexander probably does fast CAT with stopwatch (fast CAT is a timed dog sport where a dog has to run 100 yards) as a way of getting his energy out

stopwatch also is a huge teether/play biter, since australian cattle dogs were bred to nip at the heels of the cattle they were herding to get them to move

i have GOT to do some updated art of alexander in his king-9 uniform as an actual proper reference for him ... will be coming soon hopefully

also, have a little proto doodle of stopwatch i made months ago ;p
