The moment when Lark realizes she's the most levelheaded person in a fifteen foot radius.
How alarming.
“Um, Luke,” Lark pants, "can you help me out here?"
"Not now, sis," Luke rolls his eyes.
"What a fucking tool," Nikolas mutters under his breath as he slinks off.
That went well, Luke thinks to himself.
Luke, Lark's older brother, is a police office and thus natural enemy of Nikolas.
Tonight, though, he's trying to be friendly. "Hey Nik," Luke smiles, "how's it going?"
"I've told you a million times it's Nikolas, NOT Nik," he sneers.
Lark escapes, taking Laurence with her.
Lydia does not like Nikolas.
Keep making that face, Lydia. It might get stuck that way.
