The day before...
A familiar face -- a persistent, and omnipresent smile -- and a whole tone of yelling and drunk customers later, a note was left to the owner of the establish for Saebyeol:
7:20 a.m. LJD inc. Dress professional Bring a notebook, pen, and ice americanos for ten.
The next morning...
Coffee in hand, glasses shadowing the bright morning light for a man that’d slept far too little, and the sound of Luke’s footsteps could be heard throughout the establishment. A bow from the guards at the door and a smile in return, he quickly swiped in before taking the elevator to the highest floor -- his office. Today was one of the few days he actually needed to report in at 7:30 sharp. It was the first day for the newly accepted interns, and well, according to PR chief, he needed to present a friendly image for the interns and give an aspiring welcoming speech -- he didn’t understand why, but he’d do it anyways. While the company usually only accepted 10 interns at a time, this round he’d opened up an unexpected 11th spot for a young girl he saw possible potential in -- but mostly because unlike most interns, he saw her persistence. Checking his watch, 7:25. He knew that the interns were no doubt reporting to their respective mentors before meeting up to go to his office but whether he’d see the lucky 11th would be a mystery. That is until the elevator doors opened.
