Y’all know our story. Truth is, I’ve never been ashamed to share how we struggled financially because we didn’t know how to manage money. Some years ago, we filed for bankruptcy a second time. After a year or so into it, we decided to convert the wage earner to full bankruptcy. After the discharge, we received a letter from Capital One saying, to keep our 1 dependable car, we’d have to pay thousands of dollars upfront. We declined. Days later sitting in CarMax while the tow truck driver waited to get the old car, we were getting approved, by Capital One (the same company repossessing one car) for a car we paid off and still have. God was still covering us. Fast forward to 2014 when God shifted our life. Y’all, He changed everything we knew. Yet, the only way God’s way could/would work, we had to trust Him AND do the work. We did and we are because we vowed to never be in that position again. With God’s promise, God’s favor, and God’s purpose we haven’t. Why am I sharing this? For somebody who thinks it’ll never get better. For somebody who’s looking at their circumstances and believing this is all there is. Life will get better, but you’re going to have to put in some work. Here’s the thing, you don’t have to wait until 2023. You can start now by declaring, this is not my end.
