Ms. Mercedes
As she walks onto the stage, only one thing was radiating off of her: confidence. Everyone in the room could feel it. Each step and hip movement had every person in sight enchanted. Just like her body, her voice was dripping with lust. You couldn’t even finish a conversation with her without feeling dizzy. She walked up to the mic, her light blue eyes heavily lined with eyeliner and sparkling like diamonds. Swaying her hips to the beat like a professional, she closes her eyes and started to cantillate. The words came out like velvet, just like how they sounded.
She wasn’t always like this. She grew up in a home that was mediocre and never had a life of her own due to the perilous neighborhood she lived in. Day in and day out, she would stay locked up in her room, listening to old Elizabeth Grant records and falling into her own world that held no bounds. She would dance slowly, feeling every beat and lyric individually, trying her hardest to match up the movements of her hips with the tempo of the song. It was moments like this the make her feel like she was on top of the world.
