I like the idea of Alex and Luke being exes but from personal experience I think it's way funnier if Alex and Luke dated when they were fourteen rather then it being a recent thing

they just occasionally go "hey remember when we dated? that was wild"

or luke being like "been there done that" to willie and alex panicking and yelling "we WERE F O U R T E E N"

During the scene when Luke and Alex grab hands and Luke holds it to his chest, they give each other a "whoops" look, then it cuts to Ray and then back to Julie. In the background of when it's on Julie, Charlie and Owen are holding hands but down at their sides. Then it cuts to Julie's laptop and then back and Owen's hand is in his pocket. This may just be a continuity error. But that means there is some form of this scene where they hold hands longer. I'm not sure what I'm expecting out of pointing this out but it needs to be pointed out.

can we talk about the way luke literally does have chemistry with everyone (which is why multi shipping is so big on this show ig)? i truly never shipped a character with all the other main characters before, it’s ridiculous but also beautiful? i’m thinking about this a lot. like.

juke - the obvious one, but so very sweet, their chemistry and connection are so real, and it’s just beautiful to see. they’re like soulmates, whether you ship them platonically or romantically doesn’t really matter.

peterpatter - so much chemistry. they’re bouncing off each other amazingly with they personalities and it always seems like they’re walking that line where no one would be surprised if they just kissed. lovely. the fact that they know each other so well just adds to that.

lukex (?) - the supportive exes energy is unreal with them. like aside from the chemistry they have, there just seems to be so much care there. it’s so obvious that they care very deeply about each other, and their shows of affection, especially the hand holding, just tell their own story.
