This is mostly from my desire to go to Harry Potter world and a talk about what house Luka and Adrien would be in at Hogwarts. Thanks to the Lukadrien discord I’m in for pulling me into that conv. Enjoy.
Candy
“Wait,” Nino asked, leaning forward on the table of the Slytherin claimed section of the Hogwarts Express, eyes focused on the blonde sitting across from him. “You’ve never had candy before? How?”
“I model robes and such for different designers. My father has me on a strict diet.” Adrien said.
“But no candy? How do you even survive?”
Nino cries were heard throughout the more communal area of the car. Compared to sitting in a compartment with a few people, since god knows when second years and above preferred to sit in the back of the train, away from anyone who would rather stick their noses up at the snakes. Very few people from other houses were invited to come join them. One of which was Luka. Luka was an easy-going person, able to make friends with anyone. He had a few in Slytherin and had taken to sitting with them on the ride to Hogwarts. He’d gotten to know the people with his sister’s year, but he’d gotten to know Adrien even better.
Adrien had been brought by an older student into the car, saying that he was Gabriel Agreste son and they had to look after him. Now Luka knew the snakes would still keep an eye on him even if he was sorted into a different house, but he noticed how scared Adrien looked at the prospect of not being in Slytherin. He invited Adrien to sit with him and his friends, talking with him and keeping him distracted. By the end of the year, even with his green and silver tie, he’d gained friends in other houses and seemed less terrified. He’d still wave to Luka whenever he saw him around, a smile usually accompanying it.
Luka wasn’t ashamed to say, he gained a small crush on Adrien. They talked still, even more since the blonde was friends with his sister and he couldn’t help but really like the sweet boy. He seemed sheltered and Luka wanted to help him experience things. And now he was getting an idea on how to do so.
“Adrien?” he called from across the pathway. “You got your permission slip to Hogsmeade right?”
“Yeah?”
“Cool. Come with me on the first Hogsmeade day?”
He watched Adrien’s face start to flush red. “L-like a date?”
“Yeah, like a date? Will you come with me?”
Adrien nodded, that smile he gave when he waved at him in the halls on his lips. “Sure.”

Luka watched Adrien’s friends continue to tease him as he walked towards him. He watched the three of them giggling away as Adrien, face red, stopped in front of him. They took Luka’s look as a hint and went on their way, leaving the two of them.
“Sorry about that.” Adrien said.
“It’s ok. My friends were worse. Ready?”
“Yeah.”
The two fell into easy conversation, talking about their classes and the extra work load of a third and upper year student. When they arrived at Hogsmeade, Luka pointed out the different shops, some places worth checking out, some he hadn’t gone too yet and some to avoid completely in his opinion.
“Here we are. Honeydukes.” The faded decor didn’t take away from the brightness of Honeydukes. It was still a bit early, so the shop wasn’t crowded. The pale pinks and greens and candy covering the walls from floor to ceiling kept drawing Adrien’s gaze around.
“Where do I even start?”
“Well, what’s your favourite flavouring?”
“Passion fruit.”
He pointed them in the direction of the sugar quills, sorted by the different flavouring. He let Adrien pick the ones he wanted before having him put it in the basket, pointing him in the direction of other candy to try.
“Are they really every flavour?”
“Every flavour. Including earwax. Don’t ask, trust me.”
“Nino said the chocolate frogs actually move.”
“Then I guess you’re lucky you play second seeker on your team.”
“Do they actually explode? And shock?”
“It’s actually a lot more pleasant than you think.”
Luka watched Adrien find more candy and answered his questions. They took the rather large percale of candy to Three Broomsticks.
“Chocolate tastes better with butterbeer, trust me.” Luka said, opening the door and letting Adrien in first.
They found a table and Luka placed their orders.
“Pick whatever you want to try first.” Luka told him.
Adrien pulled out the exploding bonbons, looking like a little kid.
“You look cute.” Luka couldn’t help but complimenting. The blush on Adrien’s face was worth it. As was the one of surprise and confusion when the bonbon started sparking in his mouth.
