I have a dumb question!! But I'm getting an Icelandic Sheepdog girl in December or January and I'm trying to think of Scandinavian names. I was thinking you might have some faves. Current frontrunner is Valkyrie/Valka. All the puppies are little black & white tuxedo dogs.

Eld/Elda = fire. Freia/Freya =name of the goddess of love and beaty.Saga.Huldra = mythical lady who lured men into the forest with her beauty.Idun.Skadi.Some icelandic ones i like:

Svala.Fenja.Era.Kria.Alma.Dis.Fluga.Tildra.
