Ask game: luminary maybe a curios focused scene
“Kizuki, I—have you been drinking?”
Without looking up at the angelic voice and wincing only slightly at the sound of the door closing behind her, Kizuki waves an arm at the wine bottle resting next to her head and topples it over easily, the empty glass ringing like a bell.
“They… they called her a demon, Inko. Why’d they do that? That’s so fucking stupid. And where’d they even go to find a doctor that still practices Meta—” she hiccups, feeling ill for a moment that has nothing to do with the bottle(s?) of wine she’s had tonight. “Quirk suppression nowadays anyway? Who licensed him? I’m gonna take their badge.”
Inko sights warmly as she approaches, and places a reassuring hand on Kizuki’s own. “I don’t know, Kizuki. I really don’t. I can’t imagine treating Izuku like that… for a parent to—to—” she trails off because she’s so much better than Kizuki and wouldn’t spend a night getting drunk and coming up with new swear words because the ones she has weren’t good enough.
“God you’re so fucking beautiful,” she mumbles. Probably. She’s not a great judge of volume this many wineglasses in. From the sudden blush on Inko’s face, it wasn’t all that quiet. When was the last time she got shitfaced? College, maybe. “I’m pretty good at faking drunk, y’know,” she continues her train of though aloud. “Good for getting a scoop. Get to a party with an interview, order drinks on the rocks, refill early, spill ‘em a few times, loosens the tongue. Been ages since I’ve actually had this much.”
“Oh, Kizuki…” Inko reaches over and delicately extracts the wineglass from her hand. Not that she could’ve stopped her if she wanted to at this point.
“You’re so good Inko… you and little ‘zuku are so good.” She furrows her brow. “How’d you do that? How do I do that?”
