For the Ask Game: Valiant
Heroes, ironically, very rarely get to deliver good news. Sure there’s the usual ‘I am here!’ shit that everyone does, even if they don’t have a marketable catchphrase (And no, “Come get some!” does not count, Rumi checked). Usually, when Heroes are delivering news, it’s because they’re in a crisis situation of some kind, ranging from ‘day’s ruined’ to ‘fucking hell.’ Doctors get to say that patients will make a full recovery. Heroes get to tell paramedics “I retrieved them from the scene and noticed these injuries.”
Rumi will gladly take this opportunity to give someone good fucking news. Sure, she’s cheating a bit since it’s her ward/daughter/apprentice/feral gremlin she keeps in her house, but hey. You take a win where you damn well can.
“Himiko!” she calls, and the aforementioned feral gremlin comes bounding down the corner almost literally bouncing off the walls. Menace.
“What’s up, Rumi?” she says, ear twitching as she comes to a stop.
“What do you know about how Heroes mentor the little brats from Hero schools?”
“You grab ‘em from a fighting ring and take them home!” she says cheerfully, then pauses. “Oh, wait, you said schools. No clue!”
“Normally, the way it works is we watch them kick ass at the Sports Festival—or eat shit, as the case may be—and send ‘em an offer to whip them into shape. Then, when they have a Provisional License, they come to us through some networking bullshit and we whip their asses into shape.”
“...okay?”
Rumi grins. “But that’s lame as hell, and there’s a kid I’ve got my eye on that wasn’t at the Sports Festival.”
It only takes Himiko a moment before she absolutely lights up. “You’re gonna get Vally!?”

"Flug wasn't really sure how he was still alive after being at the center of what should have been a catastrophic explosion--- but somehow---- he was just down a chunk of his fried hair and most of his lab coat. And while the burnt cotton wisped all around him, he, himself, was mostly fine.
Definitely shook up, but fine."
Flug creates a machine to prove that he's still useful to the Black Hat Organization, but while he's lucked out and has successfully done what he set out to do, he gets to the new universe realizing there's no easy way back.
Honestly, he's utterly marooned himself; so what CAN he do to get himself home at this point?
[Inspired by the McNobody's Valiant AU! This Au has lived rent free in my head since the start of my time in this fandom and I think it always will. I have no idea what they're doing nowadays, but if no one else is writing for it, I'm gonna do it!!!]
So...This is Weird,Right?
Because in my head:
Canon Flug is a Transmasc,pansexual.
Dr Zug is bisexual, and doesn't give a crap about gender norms (he above that shit).
Genderbend Flug is a lesbian, yes or yes.
And General Slys probably wouldn't care about what gender you are,he just has very high standards.
Valorous AU moments without context
Or, "i was reading the gay zombie apocalypse webcomic ShootAround and went -Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme-"

After switching to night vision, Dr. Zug’s goggles scanned his surroundings. Several other buildings surrounded the factory, but there was one in particular that Dr. Zug focused on. A dark, tower-like and spiked structure stood out against the others, with only a few lit windows. One of them was shrouded by a black silhouette, a silhouette that Dr. Zug felt gazing directly at him. A shiver crept up the doctor’s spine. He knew that was impossible. He was standing in the shadows, completely hidden. He had the element of surprise. There was no way anyone expected him...right?

Well... There definitely was SOMETHING going through her trash bins, making a huge noise of digging through the trash.... (Spamtonexe)
@spamtonexe
The back door to the farm house get's kicked open in a huffy, angry display.
"I swear if them mimics are back to raiding my trashcans..." She comes out back with a broom and marches her way over to the trash cans.
"Git outta there yew pinche pendejo!" The lid is removed quickly and the broom is raised ready to bap whatever is inside.
