I saw a couple of days ago on brazilian tv, that if you fill your mouth with water and keep it in there while you’re cutting the onions, they won’t burn. I swear to you, they did it on TV. I haven’t tried because I never get too much of a burn (also, started buying frozen minced onions to save time), but I’m dying to make my grandmother or my aunt do it. Even if it’s just to see them spit it all over the kitchen. :D

the burn doesn't really bother me tbh it only really happens to me when the onion is really really fresh which is close to never in my case ahahaha

I know what you mean. There are a few authors that are just astonishing (Manoel Carlos and Gilberto Braga for example) and others I don’t like so much (Glória Perez). But the production, the cinematography, everything is so visually perfect! :D

I love Gilberto Braga! Celebridade was one of my favourite novelas ever of the ones I've seen.
