Biography: Much like most other kingdoms, Luminous Cloud has a court jester, and a surprisingly powerful one at that! Meet the weirdest lizard ever to grace the sky, Kaminarikozou! Though, for the sake of pronunciation, he's been nicknamed Thunder Kid. He looks rather goofy, and kind of is, but he makes up for it by creating short EMP bursts that are great against Machines, and can knock enemy monsters out of the sky!

His signature move is the Triple Thunder Dance, which can both dodge and attack at the same time. He was found as an egg by Sanga of the Thunder, and has since been a loyal member of his court. Thunder Kid also hangs around some of the more child-like monsters when not performing comedic routines, including Happy Lover, Baby Dragon, Legion the Fiend Jester, and Hoshiningen.

Biography: What looks like what happens when a broken pipe meets a demon is one of the strongest artillery units in all of the Duelscape's mountainous regions! Meet Tyhone, a Duelscape word meaning "He who shoots off at the mouth". And in all fairness, they ain't wrong.

Perhaps his strongest asset is his toothless, constantly open mouth. It can fire air bombs that explode on contact with the enemy, and have a power output similar to 500 tonnes of TNT!

He's also surprisingly fast for a being capable of such a caliber, making him hard for most to get a good lock on. He serves as a sentry for Luminous Cloud, and often works with the Harpies of the Winged Mountain in his spare time.

DD: ADBK Kiryu

The Servant of the Darkened Blade

Biography: After being saved by the mysterious Dark Blade, this red Dragon has since been his staunch ally. Kiryu lives in Luminous Cloud, serving Sanga of the Thunder at the behest of Dark Blade and the equally enigmatic Skull Guardian.

Rumors circulate that Kiryu is connected to the mechanical Y-Dragon Head, but this has been dismissed by even the Perfect Machine King himself.

Due to being incredibly spry for his age (only about 300 years compared to other Dragons in his power class), Kiryu is incredibly fast, able to dive in-between enemies with little effort!

DD: ADBK Thunder Nyan-Nyan

Biography: The Thunder monsters are an interesting case; although many of them have high intelligence, not to mention great power, many have chosen to either stay as partners to other Tribes, or simply not get involved with them for one reason or another.

The former is the case for Thunder Nyan-Nyan, a mischievous, fun-loving demigoddess hailing from Luminous Cloud, a village in the sky home to several Winged Beasts, a few Dragons, and several other Thunder beings. Nyan-Nyan is the adopted daughter of Sanga of the Thunder, a strict disciplinarian who insisted on being the world's most powerful weather maker.

However, his restrictive policies only made Nyan more defiant, eventually running away from Luminous Cloud to gain more personal freedom. Unfortunately, this led her to being in hot water thanks to the crafty Morinphen and Ocubeam. They managed to restrain the Thunder demigoddess, and ransomed her for ownership of Luminous Cloud.

This plan was botched, however, courtesy of fellow Thunder elemental Thunder Dragon, who was on his way to meet Dark Magician for tea when he saw the deal taking place. Telling Dark Magician what happened, the duo confronted Morinphen and Ocubeam, and forced them to retreat.

Grateful to them, Thunder Nyan-Nyan chose to work with The Kindred to establish connections with her father and the rest of the Duelscape. Since then, she's been a real tormentor of the Undead Oligarchy, zapping down Zombies and Fiends that dare approach Kindred space, and often playing 'games' of Pin the Bolt on the Dingus.

DD: ADBK Guardian Tryce

Epithet: 

The Guardian of the Thunder's Rage

Biography: Highly loyal to Sanga after a chance encounter in the sky against the Castle of Dark Illusions' residents, Tryce serves the territory of Luminous Cloud with his twin electric swords!

He's the half-brother of Guardian Eatos, and has trained with her as well as Airknight Parshath and Dragon Lady. Being one of the oldest Thunder-related beings, Tryce also talks with fellow ancient being Thunder Dragon about the state of the Duelscape.

Both fear a great terror may return, and it's highly likely all of these interdimensional arrivals are but the herald of a potential disaster.

DD: ADBK Gyaku-Gire Panda

Epithet: The Guard Bear of the Dragon Lady

Biography: Never underestimate the power of a panda, especially in the Duelscape. They're often irritable, strong, and terrifying in battle because of it! And nowhere is this more apparent than with Gyaku-Gire Panda.

Born and raised as a cub by Sanga of the Thunder, this powerful panda serves as one of Dragon Lady's retainers. And man is he good at the job! His Kung-Pao Paw move has doomed many enemies to an untimely end, and he's surprisingly fast for a 2,000 pound Beast as tall as a van.

DD: ADBK Master Kyonshee

The Wandering Martial Arts Exorcist

Biography: At first glance, this seems like a contradiction, as Kyonshees are the Duel Monster equivalent to the Chinese vampiric monsters called Jiangshi. However, much like the Patrician of Darkness, this wise and strong Zombie was once a highly respected member of the Luminous Cloud residency. Specifically, he was Sanga of the Thunder's vanguard leader.

That is, until Morinphen and Whiptail Crow managed to use a special zombifying curse to turn him into an undead monster. However, to keep him from losing his free will, fellow fighters Kung Fu Nyan-Nyan and Dragon Lady managed to create a special seal to keep him from becoming fully feral.

He's since sworn to not only defeat the two would-be killers, but also help keep other undead creatures from meeting a similar fate. This eventually culminated in saving a superpowered undead woman that would soon be known as Mind on Air. He is a member of the Kindred, serving both Sanga and Patrician of Darkness, taking on any combatant offering to train/spar with him.

DD: ADBK Kung Fu Nyan-Nyan

Biography: Both Luminous Cloud and the Highlands have some more unusual denizens, usually with Asian-inspired themes and philosophies. They're also known for having powerful martial arts masters of varying professions. And nowhere is that more prominent than this cute mistress of martial arts, Kung Fu Nyan-Nyan.

Despite the name, she's not directly related to Thunder Nyan-Nyan, though the two are spirit sisters. She was born the daughter of fellow Luminous Cloud native and powerful swordswoman, Dragon Lady. Kung Fu Nyan-Nyan can be rather strict at first glance, devoting much of her time to honing her skills in unarmed combat.

However, those who have really gotten to know her can attest to both her loyalty and her kindness. She'll defend any defenseless creature that needs her help, and her speed and power make her more than a match for the objectively stronger combatants such as Dragons.

She and Dragon Lady recently joined the Kindred, as part of Sanga of the Thunder's pact of mutual protection that started thanks to Thunder Nyan-Nyan. Kung Fu is sometimes sent along with other female Warriors to check out disturbances in certain regions of the Duelscape, with her most recent journey taking her to Coral Ridge to discover the Legendary Fisherman.
