ParanormaSprite

The sprites from the Paranormasight games are famously non-trivial to extract. I managed to figure it out, but with all of the different combinations of poses, facial expressions, asymmetrical flipping, extra details, etc, it's way too many to upload them all. However, I still want to make sure the sprites are accessible. So I made an app.

Just point it at at your Paranormasight installations (you don't need both games!) and it should help you generate whichever portraits you want.

Note that this is only for character portraits - other images like Mocking Birds, menu portraits, backgrounds etc. are relatively easy to get with normal Unity tools like AssetStudioMod GUI.

Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire BizHawk Overlay

There's a lot of misinformation out there about Pinball RS, and even once you've learned how things really work, it's a lot to keep track of if you're going for full Pokedex completion. I was interested in making that information more accessible, so I wrote an emulator overlay that displays all that information live, by reading from the game's memory. Note that this does not modify memory in any way, and everything it shows should be derivable using game knowledge, strategy guides, and a strong memory of your progress so far - this overlay simply takes those notes automatically, and does not offer any unfair advantages. You can download it at the link below and run it through BizHawk's lua console. More detailed installation instructions are in the repository's readme.

Chrono Ark Unofficial Soundtrack

Chrono Ark is a pretty cool game with a pretty good soundtrack. Unfortunately, no official soundtrack release exists, with different composers having their work scattered across different corners of the internet. The developer has confirmed on the Steam Forums that there are no plans for a soundtrack release, due to rights issues.

I thought this was a crying shame, so I took it upon myself to assemble a substitute. Ripping each of the songs from the game, identifying them, tagging them, and editing them to loop cleanly, I present: the Chrono Ark Unofficial Soundtrack, available in FLAC and MP3.
