“Please, teach me how to fight!”
Coming off rather strongly, I cannot contain my excitement. Her beauty was grand and I had no qualms in staring but her graceful movements with a sword in hand. A private practice should not be interrupted and yet, I had to make my presence known. While I tried to become adept with my sword skills, I was rather pathetic and a bit clumsy. Sure, I had no reason to fight but I was growing concerned about my survival chances. Gerard may not kill me anymore but if this is some sort of hidden episode that I don’t know of, I better be prepared for the worse!

He’d been fighting for how long now? There were faceless amok around him. It seemed as though the longer he was out the more he attracted--he wasn’t sure, but he didn’t remember seeing this many back when everything first fell apart.
They weren’t a lot but in these numbers, without Raijinto being able to hold a charge, he found himself being worn ragged. He took cover, trying to catch breath. Ryoma wasn’t able to rest, though, he was still very aware of the sluggish plodding of the well...creatures, and there was the distinct noise of something that didn’t sound quite like a faceless either.
He tried to take a look around, nothing. “Who’s there? Show yourself!”

“I am the dawn, I'm the new day begun I bring you the morning, I bring you the sun I hold back the night and I open the skies I give light to the world, I give sight to your eyes.”
He sang as he walked through the streets, trying to find any kind of clue about where exactly they were. Of course, he didn’t find much at all, just a bunch of destroyed things and remains. He didn’t even notice the other as he kept singing and walking.
“Oh I’m sorry!” he said after bumping into her. “Are you alright, miss?”
“Plu-”
Chibiusa choked, catching herself before finishing the name. No, this wasn’t Pluto- her best friend, the only person who’d keep her company when she was young and lonely. It’d been a long time since then, but it certainly felt like a let down.
“Sorry about that ma’am, you just looked like someone I knew.”

🔥 fe13 go ham koko
Commemorates such an occasion with my custom mu icons & you get a 2 in one deal.
But forreal...Fe13 is a wonderful game, don’t get me wrong. It’s not my favorite in the franchise, as I am attached to FE4, FE7, FE8, & FE9+10, but to praise FE13 without flaw isn’t what we should really do, because the fact of the matter is that FE13 did bring about new things in the series that typically weren’t considered or able to be made canon.
Sometimes I feel that FE13 went too far on the whole fan service scale, thus allowing for FE14 to do the same. FE13 broke lore from the Archanean saga so you could marry manaketes and have children with them. By manakete standards, Nowi is a child. She appears to be a child & she acts like one too. Why is she allowed to marry men who look years older than her? It’s the same as Marth marrying Tiki, had that happened, we all would have criticized IntSys for doing such. Where is the criticism for Nowi’s case? Secondly, Nah shouldn’t be THAT old considering Manakete blood is more than just an age slow thing. Tiki takes the form of a child anywhere from 10 to 12, despite being around since Jugdrali times. The human blood should roughly place her around a toddler’s age at most. They are two options that should have been locked or unavailable at all.
I also feel that FE13 brought about a trope that left a lot to be desired in Tharja’s characterization and relationship with the Avatar. I do enjoy the idea of someone having feelings for the main character, don’t get me wrong, but obsession is not the same as love. We don’t know exactly HOW she got the obsession toward the Avatar as well, because it is never explained in game. The stalkerish tendencies and the way that they made her dismissive toward her own husband in the end just...doesn’t sit well with me.

“ Hey.. I know this may sound dumb, but.. “ Scratching the back of her head and grumbling a bit, rubbing her stomach, she’d avert her gaze from the stranger for a quick second before looking back up at them. “ I was wondering if there was, some how, a building still standing that had something in it to eat. Preferably some chocolate if possible. Dark chocolate. “
@lunarbraced liked for a starter!
If there’s one thing Lene hates, it’s when disgusting men watch her dance, but she can deal with it. If she loses herself in her performance, she can ignore it. It’s simply what she’s always had to do. What she can’t abide by, under any circumstance, is anyone else suffering dealing with them. Not where Lene can see it. Not where she can stop it.
He’s not much of a threat, but he’s unpleasant, and that’s enough for Lene to hate him. He’s been wolf-whistling, making bawdy comments and the like, but to her it’s fine. Now, unlucky for him, he’s made the mistake of cornering a member of her audience -- a girl (woman?) who looks as pretty as a jewel, and Lene will not stand for it.
The dance stops; Lene advances. He doesn’t appear to have done anything but she knows his type; the cheek of him, in broad daylight, hitting on a girl who’s clearly uncomfortable! An oncoming storm, she places herself very firmly between the interloper and the lady, folding her arms and scowling.
“Dear sir,” Her tone is venomous with her fury. “If you’re so intent on finding company for yourself, might I suggest you take up residence with rats instead? I’m sure they’re much more on your level than the lady here,” Unsurprisingly, he shrinks; he’s got the whole crowd looking at him now, after all. He won’t dare do anything like this. Satisfied, Lene takes a step back, and links her arm with the woman. “Hermina here and I will be taking our leave of you now, sir. Don’t ever let me catch you near her, or you can say goodbye to ever seeing the sun rise again!”
Perhaps a little forcefully, she begins walking, bringing the woman along with her. It’s not until she rounds a corner and brings them out of eyeshot of the man does she let go, and immediately her furious expression turns to concern.
“Are you alright, miss? I’m so sorry for making such a fuss -- I couldn’t stand the thought of that little rat trying anything on you,” She huffs angrily, clenching her fists. “Gods, I can’t stand his ilk. You let me know right now what he said to you and I’ll make sure there’s nothing left of him to go to hell with!”
