Okay so! First immediate thought is Applejack because, y'know, farmer pony, rancher. You get me. He's very Applejack coded to me, and he would absolutely take her place in an MLP AU!

BUT.

As much as he'd like the mane six, I think he'd lean towards secondary characters like The Wonderbolts and Cutie Mark Crusaders :3

Especially Spitfire (This is not a Tango blaze joke I promise, I realized that as soon I typed her name lmao), and Scootaloo!

Spitfire because she's such a confident character who knows her morals and sticks to them! He wants to be like her! He admires her so much! He wants to be a leader who people look up to!

And Scootaloo, my baby girl! He'd love how she always tries her best, no matter what. She gets discouraged, but a little reminder from her friends that trying is what matters, not succeeding, and she gets right back out there! She's just like him for real!!!

I'm soso glad this chapter hits!!! We had such a good time (read: made each other cry on multiple occasions) writing it, and it's genuinely some of my favorite stuff I've written in a long time. We really said how can we make domesticity ache like an open wound and then grievously injured each other for 14k words <3
