hey guys, so the whole choosing to be single thing. do they choose that at the matching ceremony? Or can that happen at any point up until they choose to get married and have children?

They have to choose it before they get matched. If they deny their match (later in time), they’ll get their status stripped to aberration and be treated as basically, the lowest in the society.
