I love your Aqua redesign! I can totally see her adjusting her outfit after Eraqus, also if you're going to be traveling worlds you totes need you're going to need to be comfy and that outfit looks like maximum comfort + practicality

I never wanna be That Person who polices female/feminine characters wearing sexy stuff in adventure stuff--trust me, they can be great--but y’know...while there are some practical parts to Aqua outfits...there are definitely parts that are so transparently aesthetic/sex appeal lmao. Thigh high stockings? Corset??? Heeled shoes?????? she’s cartwheelin her way around distant worlds swingin her magical keysword, let my girl wear some comfy shoes and get her some proper sleeves. equality.

We did psat testing today and while I disassociated for four hours as a monitor, one small enjoyment is all the memes I get to enjoy, even now, as a teacher.

2/2 Also like I know Atlantis was based off of 20,000 leagues but just like. It makes sense in the context of the anime. Also the opening is rlly good :l

I feel like they probably had to cut it due to time restraints. I mean, the special was announced in like juneish? I don’t know how long they had to make it but probably not long, especially while juggling another special, season 2, and possible webisodes (if those are still a thing). So they probably felt like it was better to make it 20 then have it be 40 minutes and risk a drop in quality. Granted I haven’t seen the special yet so I don’t know how it turned out

Yeah I understand that. Like I still enjoyed it a lot, and I think the team did an awesome job under the huge amount of pressure they were under. It’s just a little sad we didn’t get to see as much as we were expecting O: I hope the animation team are all doing okay. It must be hell to try and animate under such a limited amount of time.
