VOICE OF MY DREAMS

The ping of her phone, took Demi out of the fantasy she was daydreaming about. She groaned in frustration. It was a very good fantasy. But when she saw what it was the source of the disturbance, she changed her mind immediately.

It was an e-mail from someone she wouldn't even dare to imagine, that turned out to function as a reply to previous missive, she took the liberty to send. Demi opened it quickly, and read it all with a big smile on her face.

The sweet letter, went about something like this:

Dear Demi:

I've gotten your message a few days ago, and since then, I've been keeping it as close to my heart I possibly can.

I receive a lot of messages from people all over the world, thanks to the marvelous platform that the internet provides to us. But none of them were like yours.

Knowing that my voice helps you to relax and drift off to sleep every night, makes me very, very happy. For us, the people that create content which helps other people to achieve a goal, learn a new skill or even feel better with themselves, get back a note of appreciation - unbelievably beautiful and deliciously written, may I add - such as yours, it's like a caress to the soul.

And, since you troubled yourself writing to me, I'd love to offer two things, as a form of appreciation. Well, technically, I'd like to ask you one thing, and show you another.

First, the ask 😁.

I'm fairly new to the universe of the ASMR, and since you told me you've been using it as a tool for some time now; I thought that it would be an amazing idea to work with you as my consultant / writer, and, sizing the chance, maybe getting to know each other a bit better.

And, given the fact that it's not an easy decision to make, I want to show you how I'm working on my next project, here at the studio.

I'll wait for your reply, praying we can, at least, talk a bit more.

Demi was in shock.

Last week, when she sent her favourite ASMR youtuber a private message to his account, her only intention was to let him know how important his work and dedication was for her, and how his videos helped her to developed a better rest habit; she wasn't even expecting to get a reply.

But now, she had way more than that. And she wouldn't waste such opportunity for anything in the world, so letting her body fall comfortably on the nearest couch, she got down to type the next answer; the one that'll change her life - and Henry's - forever.

I was about to sleep because I've got to get up early for work but I'm glad I checked Tumblr first.

Hii! Good morning, darling! (Or at least is the morning, here in Argentina) I was just passing by to tell you that I finished Fangs Deep and I'm in love with that ending. It's so lovely and sweet, an amazing contrast to all that both, Henry and Luna, had to go through; specially her. I'll keep an eye for the next part of Far From Home, because I'm a huge fan of that one. And thanks again for being so kind in accepting my weird little moodboard. Hi! How are you?? I'm so sorry to bother you, but I saw your reply about the Henry fic with a Spanish speaking reader. I know about a story that was write with that premise. The anon (who I assume is the same person) sent the exact same message to the other blog. I think is a bit rude to make the very same request to different writes, tbh. That's why I wanted to ask you if it's ok if I add the link to the other fic to your post, or you prefer I don't do it. Please don't feel obligated to reply.

Please, go for it! And I encourage anyone else if they have run across a similar request to add it into the comments of that ask. 

I do agree, and that is why I chose to decline (and I have done it before with another character which was requested earlier this year and I knew of other blogs who have written that specific request). It is not fair on me, or other writers, to write a fic when someone else has put in the hard work to write and fulfil the ask. 

As much as I agree, I won’t ever lash out because I know many years ago when I was younger, I did the same a handful of times [not my finest moments, I will agree].

Hi Kye! I finished Hill Manor last night. Damn! You know that interview Henry did in which he said he gasped out loud and covered his mouth reading his favourite Witcher short story when something he didn't expect happened? Well, I did just that when I read the revealing of the last chapter. Amazing story, so well written, and with rounded tridimensional characters. I loved your Henry, so soft and caring, which I believe, it's quite close to the real deal. Thank you for sharing this with us! 💚C

Im so glad you enjoyed it! I had a completely blast writing it and glad it shows :D I didn’t want to do a Vic!Era story and have Henry be with zero emotion and think of Reader as a piece of meat or property, it doesn’t feel like something Henry would do and be.

Hi, darling! How is it going? I'm just passing by to tell you that I really liked the last chapter of Fangs Deep. It was incredibly full of emotion and so well written, I teared up a bit, when Henry was checking Luna's wounds. Damn, that was heartbreaking, poor woman. I must admit that I still struggle with the whole Daddy thing, like I told you before (not judging at all, just not my thing) but I enjoy the whole story so much, I can't wait for the next one.
