my OC Luneste from SoLune: Moon Without Sun
Born to Indian/French nobility in the 1600s Luneste has a taste for fashion and good craftsmanship, but their heart’s desire lies in travel and exploration of the world. Turned against their will by a childhood friend, Luneste's eyesight was damaged in the early centuries of their vampirism when they went mad for lack of seeing the sun and tried to cheat fate by gazing at it through a mirror.
Shy and suffering from centuries of near-isolation, they nonetheless adore the art of conversation and delight in new acquaintances, which is why 1980′s France is a delightful novelty. The world is opening up and Luneste is eager to participate.
A traditional blood drinking vampire, Luneste does not enjoy preying upon humans and will often abstain to the point of starvation. Their companion Sycamore has no compunction killing and provides Luneste with the blood they need, much to Luneste’s distress.
