Linny/Lunny shippers:

I don’t know when “Lunny” started being used, but- can we please stop it and go back to “Linny?” 

All I read when I see “Lunny” is “Loony.” I feel a burst of overwhelming sadness every time I see it. It’s actually pretty triggering- Luna was bullied for years, probably her entire life, and we know canonically that Ginny fought to make people stop calling Luna that. 

I’m not sure if you’re meaning to pronounce it like “honey,” but if that’s the case- how? Luna’s name is pronounced “loo,” so where would you be getting that pronunciation from? That’s not how ship names work. 

Anyways, I’m ecstatic to see the rise of Linny fans, but I love these two girls so fucking much and am devastated that their ship name is starting to be changed to reflect such a hurtful thing.
