See, now I’m wondering if Comic Alpha had been alone with Negan and presented her boobz to him, would he have jumped on that like a walker on a fat kid? I mean, he did hit on her (and got HIT back XD) But I honestly think he was just trying to get her alone to kill her which sounds incredibly creepy in all honesty. But Alpha is a fucking bitch so I’ll give you a pass on the predatory behavior, Neegs.

Comic Negan might’ve gone there originally to infiltrate the whisperers and kill their leader, but if he’d found the camp decent, I could picture him staying for a while and delaying/aborting his mission. (as long as they weren’t actively threatening Rick.)

As he lived in the camp, he seemed ok with it but little intolerances began to pile up. #1 his original reason for going: to assassinate Rick’s enemy. #2, when he saw how the Whisperers did not help each other. How they stood around and watched him fight for his life against walkers, without even trying to help. Completely apathetic to his life. In his Savior days, he would’ve never stood idle while his people were in danger. And #3, of course, when he found out the rape-tolerant (even rape encouraging) ways of the group. And that is an absolute deal breaker for ole Comic Neegs.

Now, if he hadn’t gotten to reason #3 yet, and Alpha had come on to him, do you think he would’ve banged her? He went a long time (not as long as the show but still) without any sex and Negan of course is a pretty sexual guy XD of course being forced-celibate for so long might’ve pushed the ‘importance’ of sex further back. IE: ‘well, I survived THIS long without it. It’s not essential to SURVIVAL’. Whereas back when he was spoiled and getting it from 5 women on a daily basis, he might’ve overestimated his need for it. 

So, I myself....well I can’t really say. Part of me thinks he might’ve slept with her. Definitely NOT if he’d reached reason #3 (which of course the comic showed; he was alone with her and he completed his mission). But if he was at reason #1, or #2....? I don’t know. If he was still planning to kill her all along and never once wavered from that...then probably not. He’d probably feel sick for fucking her when he intended to kill her. But if he at all wavered from that, had a period of time when he might’ve aborted his mission...? Then maybe.

I'm at work, I'm bored and so I'm gonna ramble about TWD comic stuffs.

Although there's not shit I can do about it, I'm just getting more dissatisfied thinking of TWD's end. Some characters had a nice wrap up to their story, sure, but it was so rushed and abrupt to fans who were invested in this world and characters. Like wtf. At the same time, I don't know how he could have surprise-ended it otherwise without a timeskip and wrap up. But that was just it, I guess. It was like a long story where the final chapter is not the climatic last act but instead an epilogue just blandly explaining what happened.

Commonwealth was such a dull last arc imo, and I really disliked it to the point I was gonna wait for the next arc and see if there was something better coming (that's a hard No.) I disliked how huge Commonwealth was and how much they progressed vs other long standing communities like Hilltop and Alexandria. It was like this convenient fast-forwarded look into how the world might be again, someday. Someday being like... When Carl is old. But nope, there it was, as if summoned up by a blue-tinted Will Smith.

I don't like killing Rick off just to end everything, like it was just fulfilling the promise that Rick dies before it ends. Also, I know Rick is fucking amazing and all but did he really do that much for Commonwealth? It's not like he built the damn thing. They did all that on their own. Pamela kind of got the Negan Savior treatment in that she kept people safe and led them,not perfectly but hey... She should still get credit for it. I get it, Rick stopped a war and got rid of the 'tyranny' but who says it wouldn't have just happened anyway. Anyway, I'm just saying, Rick's godlike status is kind of overblown. Esp when other characters get glossed over. Without Negan the saviors would be dead, without Douglas Monroe Alexandria wouldn't have existed. Don't get me wrong, Rick deserves to be remembered and revered. It just seems over the top, but then again, we were denied seeing the world grow because of what he did. We got condensed ending-in-a-can.

And Negan. Of course. Was I glad to see him, fuck yeah. Was I thrilled with PS Negan lives, fuck yes. But that panel implied he's still, - still- pining over his wife that died like 25 years ago now. Is he? Is that what we're supposed to get out of it, that he's become this sad hermit laying on his wife's grave like Rick might've done without his responsibilities to Alexandria? I hate how over and over, Negan is painted as awful. Oh, he was such a baaaaaad leader to the Saviors. No fucking credit for keeping them alive. No credit for even being the catalyst to unite all communities. (if it hadn't been for them fighting Negan, would all those groups have joined up?) No credit ever for saving Dwight, Rick's, and Alexandra's bacon. This guy gets a redemption arc that's utterly ignored by everyone and that's fine if he learns from it and goes on to live with another group. This big social butterfly that he is, this exuberant extrovert. Nope, we get the implication he's all alone, and so accustomed to it or perhaps so self-hating that he avoids talking to Carl? Come on, Negan is talented and deserves so much more. I'd rather have seen a full circle to Here's Negan and witnessed a much-better-behaved Negan coaching football to kids in the Commonwealth!

I love that Carl cares about him. But I'd love even more to see they had regular contact and conversations. The notion that Negan is alone will never sit right with me.

Then again, it's one panel and perhaps just one tiny part of Negan's life and it is sweet to see he still loves his Lucille.

Ok, I have more but I probably should get back to work and I think these are the biggest thoughts in my head right now.

Ok guys, for some reason I was thinking of this line Negan says to Amber in the comics. He says 'you can go back to whatever job you had before Sherry brought you to us.' (us meaning him and the wives)

It makes me wonder, not for the first time, how the hell the wife thing came about. I guess it wasn't 'important enough’ to elaborate on or Kirkman just wanted to like, forget about it... LOL I was bummed when we didn’t get any of it in Here’s Negan.

Anyway, that line to Amber got me thinking...what if Sherry was behind the wives thing. Like maybe after she got ‘tired’ of being with Negan but still wanted his Savior Leader benefits, she proposed this idea of bringing in other women. For some reason, with how Sherry went cuckoo later on, I like to imagine Sherry had more of a hand in Negan’s leadership. I guess I just really want to know more of the details of the whole polygamous lifestyle he was leading and esp more about he and Sherry went from flirting in a hotel room to Sherry’s untimely end.

Also, why did Sherry choose to stay with Negan when it meant he’d burn Dwight with the Iron? Or was that a completely unplanned event from Negan that he later decided would be a good ‘cheating deterrent’? Or was Dwight’s story about ‘being caught cheating with Sherry so I was burnt’ complete BS and maybe it was something totally different - ie, maybe Dwight was hurting Sherry...or maybe Sherry set him up...? (but Negan later used it as a ‘cheating punishment because damn. He never figured anyone else would want to tempt that fate!)

Maybe it's not the same, but one of my longest stints in a fandom (and I'm not exactly out of it, I just haven't created much for it lately) was for an old cartoon. It was already in syndication when I found it and it hadn't had new episodes for probably a good 5 or 6 years when I got into it. It did have a comic spinoff but the comic was different, kind of like TV twd is different from the comic but in this case the show was the original story. And yet when I got into it, the fandom was thriving. New fics all the time, tons of art, fan sites and community message boards. In fact this old show still has fan content being created for it.

I guess maybe this fandom spoiled me and made me think all fandoms should be or are like that. Having fan devotion keeping it going long past its expiration point. Maybe that's why I get miffed over what I see as a lack of drive for Twd comics/comic Negan but you know maybe I'm not being fair. It's not as popular as that old dorky show was and the fan base is smaller (and that could be a good thing because that other fandom has a lot of the creepy fanboy fetish crap Lmao) maybe I should just be happy liking Negan by myself with a few others like a little club (tho I sure wish this club felt more like a community, sigh. But maybe that's just me being nostalgic again and expecting too much.)

I think I'm gonna make a side blog devoted to animal testing awareness and cruelty free products. I'm not planning to go vegan or vegetarian any time soon; for now I'm focused on animal testing (tho once I move out next year (if I do) I will probably reduce my meat intake when I cook for myself XD)

Anyway I thought I'd make a side blog to make it a main focus and I know most people don't want animal testing and abuse shoved in their face amongst shit posts and Negan. XD Believe me, I've seen some really horrible things in my searches on this topic in the last few weeks and it's really affecting my mental health so I understand that people do not want this shoved in their face with no warning.

So yeah, if you want to follow, cool, and if you don't also cool. And I really urge everyone to try to buy cruelty free items when you can, tell your fave products/companies to stop testing and remember signing petitions isn't always a waste of time since it did help free some lab beagles recently. And don't be afraid to email your lawmakers. I'm just getting started on this path myself. Anyway, getting off my soapbox now. Lol!

I’m just gonna ramble on a little about TWD comic. Be warned.

When it comes to the comic, I don’t think Kirk-man is flying by the seat of his pants, just making up stories as he goes. I think he has a whole story planned out, from beginning to the ultimate end and maybe he changes things here and there or keeps/kills characters/plotlines and adjusts things as he goes.

(the following is my opinion) That was fine in the beginning. Nobody had much attachment to the characters. It was a zombie story where people died. It moved along at a fast pace. Then it began to have issues where it was just everyday things. Pregnancies, relationship issues, daily struggles in the ZA. Not just fast-action and a plot moving forward at lightning speed.

But the plot did still move. We went from the prison to Alexandria to the fight with the Saviors and the aftermath. And now we slogged through the Whisperers and we’re on to the Commonwealth and we’re moving forward along the set storyline.

But see, I don’t know how well this moving forward works anymore. In the beginning, characters were shed like a dog sheds his fur. It was the plot that mattered, the moving forward. Now I feel like it’s the opposite. I feel like it’s the characters that should matter and not so much the plot. I skimmed a Letter Hack where Kirk-man seemed surprised that people were upset over Dwight’s death. And I think that’s starting to be my issue: the comic does not value the reader’s attachments and interest in the characters. It just wants to go, go, go. Onto new things! New faces! New enemies! So many readers say: we want to see more Sophia/-insert many other characters here-, more Kingdom/Hilltop, what are the Saviors doing, what happened with William in the Kingdom, what is Negan doing, can we see backstory on Jesus...etc...

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d just love to stop the train for a while. I’d like to focus on the characters and conflicts we already have.

Maybe it’s my problem though. Who am I to demand how a writer writes their work? Maybe it’s my issue that I get too attached and too interested in characters. Maybe I want things out of this story that we weren’t intended to get.

Just some rambling.

I've seen people and articles going on about how twd comics is gonna be a Negan fest because Kirkman made a f-bomb filled comment asking people to 'guess who would be the focus of the comics.' I really think people are getting ahead of themselves thinking it's gonna be Negan.

Rick's death was apparently planned out for a long time, that he would die like this (shit death. Lol). Now keep in mind, if things had gone as planned... Negan would be dead. He was supposed to have died when Maggie came to confront him. The Kirk changed his mind about that. So that means, since then, he planned out an entire new story for Negan to do shit after Rick croaked? I mean, maybe, it's been over a year since Negan was in the comics so it's a lot of time to change the story to accommodate him. Either that or maybe Kirk was flat out lying when he said he was originally going to kill Negan and he had planned all along for him to go on hiatus and come back after Rick died.

Either that or Negan isn't going to be the focus at all and Kirkman is laughing that people's 'one fuckity fucking guess' is Negan when we have a Carl Grimes. You know... Rick Grime's son and heir...?

TV Alpha being so evil makes me even more bummed with how awful they made TV Negan lol. Despite Judith's crude of 'he's only hoooman!' the dude threw someone into a furnace to burn alive. I won't forget that. It's such a shame because it's supposed to be this contrast between him and her. Yet my mom is over here saying 'wow, she's not any different than Negan.'

Also I dunno if comic alpha really came across as sadistic, she was just... Indifferent to suffering. I dunno. It's like, she was just all about this 'humans are animals and morals are a human creation' or some shit. So like being sadistic just to be sadistic would be more of a human trait? Though in a sense, ignoring her natural human empathy and compassion made her defacto sadistic?

I'm kind of blabbing. Ignore my swill. Lol

And tho I could care less that TV Negan doesn't get comic Negan storyline because he's... Like... Not Negan to me... It's still sad to me that these things won't happen. That he wasn't how he should've been from the start and I couldn't get the satisfaction and enjoyment of seeing his story play out. Now it doesn't matter. But it still bums me out.
