Guidelines
I’m a pretty easy-going bloke, but here are a few rules to help you understand the kind of roleplayer that I am. If you have any questions, then please don’t hesitate to ask me!
1. No Competition. I’m not here to compete with every other Remus on Tumblr. I love all other Remus’s out there. You keep doing your best, buds, and have fun. My portrayal may be different from yours, but I don’t consider any portrayal to be inaccurate. Roleplaying is nothing more than filling a character with our own influences and exploring vast worlds in their shoes.
2. Patience. I am extremely busy. I write for a living, so my brain isn’t always sharp enough to spend time here, too. I hope to. I want to. But I want to be realistic, too. If we have a storyline together, then you can expect me to reply to it. It just may take me a week or two. All I ask for is patience and understanding.
3. No Favorites. That leads me to the third rule. I don’t play favorites. Are there writers I may jive with a bit more than others? Sure. That doesn’t mean I love their story more than anyone else’s. It means that, in that moment, my muse has an easier time formulating words and actions to their responses. I support you all, and I appreciate you all.
4. NSFW. Yup. Remus is a smutty boy. Once you manage to rip down all 100,000 of his stone layers, anyway. It will appear on this blog. If you’re uncomfortable with NSFW content, especially smut, then don’t follow this blog. I’ll ship with anyone 18+ provided there is chemistry between characters. My primary ships for Remus are: Remus/Tonks, Remus/Hermione, and Remus/Lily. I’m afraid he’s a dirty het, my dudes, but I’m always willing to write an unrequited storyline with males/mascs. I’m also open to interactions with OCs, but they must be fully-formed and, again, chemistry is vital to me.
5. Formatting. I don’t have as much time to format as I used to. You’re absolutely free to use as little or as a lot of formatting as you like. As for myself, I will use small text, some bolding, and that’s about it. I don’t have the time to hunt down icons and make them pretty. What I can offer you is a solid reply and some damn good content.
6. Triggers. If we’re writing and you have a specific trigger, then please let me know. I want to do what I can to make our storyline a safe place for you.
7. Contact. If you’d like to contact me about a storyline, then please message me through the Tumblr messaging system. You’re also always welcome to reply to any memes that I post, no matter how old the post may be.
Thanks so much for reading! Help yourself to some chocolate on the way out.
