Hello there ! I didn't notice the James/Lily art was yours. I am sorry if my commenting on your art lead to a debate you did not ask for. I hope you still found it interesting, even though we have completely different opinions on both Severus and James. I replied to your comment and your bud's one ; feel free to share your thoughts or not & tell me if you're fed up with it. My intention is not to spam/annoy/stress anyone. Cheers :)

My problem with this debate is that you keep up bringing up headcanon bullshit to attack Snape-making DE speeches, ignoring for the fact he had to live most of his adult life as double agent and not possibly effecting how he had to treat people, ignoring the fact he asked for all three of the Potters and then died for people who hated him-and now you have the nerve that I don’t understand where Snape bashing is coming from.

Maybe i’m misreading your comments bu t they are coming across as very passive aggressive. You may find Snape’s character fascinating, but you don’t understand nor like the character. I don’t idolize Snape just because I hate James and think its crap that people-like you-can disregard James’s horrble actions-nearly killing a muggle, sexual assaulting Snape, blackmail, bullying people because they exist-by saying he just has some faults,.

Why is that James is redeemed for doing what a parent and spouse is suppose to do when your family is danger, but Snape risking and then dying for the Wizarding World of the United Kingdom mean nothing to this character? Why isn’t he redeemed or a likable character? 

 I have no issues to debate James Potter’s character if you would have not done exactly what that post was bitching about and addressing: ignoring the fact James did not change since he was 15 and then bashing-and making up bullshit- Snape to make James a better person. If James just had faults you wouldn’t need to do that.

2. I like Christopher Ecclecston as an actor but I just didn't think he was a good Doctor. He was brilliant when he was supposed to be dark and mysterious, but the manic smile he pasted on his face when he was supposed to be happy just didn't work. He couldn't be silly, funny, dorky, like the Doctor sometimes is - it's part of him, cf. Classic era - or at least whenever he tried it felt forced.

i understand your reasoning but personally loved chris's 'funny' acting. I think thre is no one thing or way the doctor can exist and no one way he can be a dork. every one is different and incredible and funny in their own completely-the-doctor way. (also remember, he came before the commonly looked at "silly" doctors)
