So I kinda wanna IV breed a zoroark for competitive battles. Any recommendations for it?

Zoroark is pretty much a glass cannon with the option to be a special or physical attacker. So because of that Timid or Jolly are two natures you should consider when make a competitive one. You can also make a mixed attacker with evs more in attack and some in sp.a but it wouldn’t be as powerful compared to the other two options. Life orb, choice specs or Shell bell are also items u should consider giving it but it depends on how you’re using it. Since I don’t know any aspects of your team I can’t tell you which nature to go for exactly that could be beneficial to them. There isn’t much Zoroark can do since so many other things outclass it or do a better job than it plus its defense is pretty bad compared to other glass canons.

Due to the nature of online battles having the players look at eachothers teams prior to the battle, once they’ll see Zoroark they’ll be on high alert when you swap out so thats one of the many things you’ll need to watch out for. You can try to pull off Illusion but you need some heavy team support due to how frail it is.
