I KNOW! I see so much "Yuri/Luke" fanart on pixiv and I'm just so confused. If this were legit canon, Yuri would probably punch "Bratty young Luke" in the face, and then they would have fought. Lol IDK

I've seen it a lot and I don't get it?? also I hate shipping Luke with like anyone romantically bc he's a child but that's just my personal opinion thing

I asked this once before as well an the answer I received was that the main reason behind it is: the aesthetic. People really like the whole long hair, purple/red look. I have no idea why, that’s just what I heard.
so it’s just for the aesthetic and the looks??? like, I guess I can get behind that but even then it doesn’t strike me as it being shippable to that big as scale...then again, those are only two of the most popular and beloved characters in the series so one merely needs to do the math
