Old Father Time Soap review
*top left photo taken from AllThingsLushUK
I was a little afraid when the early descriptions of this soap were posted with sage and thyme in the description, curious but a little wary thinking back to another soap that used food spices, 13 Unlucky Soap, that I just could never get used to the smell. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally went to use this as the thyme and sage were present but not overpowering and there was something else there making it more complicated. This is a scent which I feel is very Lush, complicated and different that grows on your senses, on top of these ingredients is red currants and myrrh and rosewood oil. Sounds like a strange combination but it just works. It’s very Christmasy in spirit also, without being obvious. I’d like a candle in this scent.
As far as how it is for cleansing, it’s nice. It creates a good lather and is middle of the spectrum of Lush soaps for moisture. It does lather with an orangey red color but don’t worry it rinses right off without staining.
The sad thing about this soap is that it will not be in all stores this Christmas. Hence why I had to use AllThingsLushUK’s photo of the whole soap wheel, which is so cool by the way, b/c my local store isn’t going to get any! It will be in gifts and online but it’s still sad. I have already picked up another piece with a UK order after hearing this and I may need more.
My @lushcosmetics haul from a couple of weeks ago.
I may have been bad....it's just so cool! And filled with bath bombs! The Christmas Wishes gift set had to be mine ok! And the Holly Golightly was just ginormous and the new Rough with the Smooth looks so much bigger and brighter I need to give it a shot, of course! And I need to try the Cranberry face mask!
Review: Lush Santa's Belly Shower Jelly
Check out my Lush Santa Belly Shower Jelly review, it's a lot better than I thought! It's amazing!
Lush’s world famous Shower Jelly was first introduced to the Lush Cosmetics line as an alternative & very unique cosmetic product back in the year 2005. Back then I was a teenager of 15 years and Lush Cosmetics had just reached double figures by becoming 10 years old. The concept behind the idea of a jelly product was inspired by the British, party food favourite, jelly and icecream. Growing…

Just ordered the largest size of Rose Jam shower gel that Lush offeres and I can’t wait until it gets here because I will probably order at least one more bottle.
