Keeping myself busy in mundane ways to keep from burning out about the big picture and the state of the world today. I know this looks like raspberry sludge but I made the most glorious exfoliant while using up my soap stash. Bonus: my house smells like honey and blackcurrant/lingonberry. I pretty much used whatever was already available in my kitchen: -two equal parts sizes of honey i washed the kids and reindeer rock soaps -a big ole heaping of coconut oil - a few tablespoons of raw agave syrup. Heated them all up while stirring to avoid burning (reindeer def had a higher melting point than honey), let the base cool off a bit, then added plain sugar from my cabinet for grit and a good scrub. Shit is hella legit, my arms are both exfoliated and super moisturized. #lushie #lushcosmetics #lushkitchen #lushdiy
