ok, so some basic background info on blaise… he was born and raised in the suburbs of charlotte, north carolina. his dad is a divorce attorney (one of the best in the area), and his mom is a housewife. they were pretty well-off, and since blaise was an only child, he was (and still is) a bit of a spoiled brat.
blaise was his parents’ “ideal” kid. he did well in school and went to sunday school every week. he was very interested into music from a very early age, so he studied music very heavily growing up. but his parents always told him he had to go to law school to follow in his dad’s footsteps and that music was a just a hobby. blaise never really wanted to be a lawyer, but he didn’t want to upset his parents, so he never really protested it. he just wrote songs and recorded covers for his youtube page in peace because he’s a lil dork.
so basically, his senior year in high school, shit hit the fan. blaise came out to them as gay, and that didn’t go over too well, considering they were devout baptists. and then, he told them he didn’t plan to go to college, and all hell broke loose. they kicked him out of the house, and he worked odd jobs while staying with a friend’s parents while he finished high school. he saved up money to move to new york, and he eventually did!
once he got to new york, blaise quickly realized it wasn’t anything like he had hoped it would be. but he worked gigs here and there and still made his youtube videos. shortly after, one of them went viral, and he signed with republic records after. so, now, he’s in the process of making his debut album, woo!
personality wise, he’s very pretentious and assertive. he’s suuuuper opinionated, especially when it comes to politics and music because they’re two things he cares deeply about. he’s v extroverted; he’s never met a stranger. he’s very emotional and short-tempered. he loves going to parties and all that but just to socialize bc he’s a bit of prude when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

it’s probably no little girl’s dream to be working in the porn industry? i mean it definitely wasn’t enya’s. she always thought she’d be doing something more ... boring at this point in her life, like waiting tables or something. to be fair, she was doing that for a while, but the pay was practically nothing and her tips were never that great.
she didn’t get into the industry until she met one of her now closest friends, who opened up a whole new world for her, essentially. there are things about the job that enya doesn’t love, but at least she gets more enjoyment (and better pay) out of it than she did her waitressing job.
anyway ! a bit of background ; enya’ spent the whole of her life in new york (her favorite place to be is brooklyn but mostly bc the accents make her w*t) so she’s fairly accustomed to the city. not much surprises her anymore like ... ya girl’s seen a lot in her lifetime, but she definitely loves city life !
enya’s never been super outgoing or friendly, she’s always just been kinda negative? not necessarily mean, but she just ... isn’t the type of person to look for the good in everything + everyone. she is very much a glass half empty kinda person.
her parents always taught her to question everything, and because of that she never goes into anything without extensively weighing the pros and cons first. she just likes to be careful u know.
