@lustrousknight II Starter Call
It had stunned Conrad to learn that his twin brother, whom he had deemed dead, had, in fact, survived the flames that seemingly had taken his life all those years ago. Furthermore, his twin was the luckier of the two -- the one raised by the kindly sage Halcyon, of the rare, but benevolent, Duma Faithful. Conrad himself was taken in by members of the Duma Faithful who sought to raze the continents due to their master’s twisted will. He despised them with a vengeance befitting one who resented how they had raised him.
That was why that Conrad, usually level-headed, had charged straight for the cantors he found along the path to the Sage’s Hamlet. He couldn’t care less for his own personal safety. Upon learning of their plot against Anthiese, his personal hatred -- which was already brewing -- increased by tenfold. He wanted to tear them apart for every atrocity their leader contrived.
His twin, however, seemed reluctant to partake in this. Conrad turned ‘round, hoping to convince him.
“It’s folly to let them roam about as they please!”
“My brother, do you not see what would occur if we let these men depart with their lives? They will continue to visit destruction upon whoever has the misfortune of encountering them. Think of Anthiese! Would you restrain yourself if they hurt her?”
