I Hate Zombies

Or rather, I've become very tired of them. They've become over-saturated in pop culture to the point where every other movie and video game is about zombies, or at least it seems that way to me. I mean, the most variety we get for these reanimated corpses are shambling, rotting dudes or sprinting "infected" that the main hero attempts to outrun/outgun and hopes to somehow mass-produce a cure for mankind. 

Hell, the second-most popular show on AMC is the Walking Dead, the Last of Us shipped nearly 4 million copies, and World War Z grossed nearly $400,000,000. Don't get me wrong, none of these are bad (though I wasn't too crazy about Walking Dead until recently), I'm just saying we can return these poor bastards to the graveyard for a while. 

Hopefully Pacific Rim will spark a worldwide fascination of mech-versus-kaiju combat.
