This is actually not as unattainable a goal in your relationship with Lute as you might think. Although she takes her work very seriously (some might say too seriously...), we see in canon she has her downtime with Adam and she would undoubtedly do so with a partner once she gets settled in.
At home when the pair of you want to relax on the couch, Lute likes to have your head in her lap (or vice versa if she's extra comfortable with you by this point) while you're both reading, watching something on TV, or playing a video game (she is not a gracious loser. You are lucky she is cute...).
Sometimes, if she knows she isn't going to be doing a lot of hands-on work, she lets you paint her nails. She likes to show off what a good job you've done when she's out on the promenade.
She will never admit it, but it means a lot to her that you get up with her in the early mornings where she heads out for training sessions (even if you go back to sleep afterwards). I see her as a bit of a fitness junkie, and she very much appreciates if you make her a protein smoothie or the Heaven equivalent thereof. Reminders of the fact she is loved (and by you no less!) are never far away.
Lute is more of a shower type of person, but every so often especially after a long day you can coax her into a hot bath with you. She'll let you wash her back and preen her wings and pull her into your chest with her head leaning back on your shoulder, and she will permit herself to bask in it.
If you're the type to do chores around the house when Lute is out, prepare yourself for a good deal of mending her torn uniforms and getting the pesky demon blood out of the fabric. She tends to be pretty tidy (think military-level neatness) but doesn't look after her clothes as often as you wish she would!
Sometimes she just needs a good old cuddle in bed after a hard day. This is especially true post-S1 with the weight of trauma and depression heavy on her shoulders. Lute can be a bit snappish and short with you when she's at her limit but you've learned to just take her into your arms and hold her. I think she'd enjoy some deep pressure hugs, all while you're pressing tender kisses to the crown of her head and reminding her how much you love her. The knowledge that she can come home to you reassures her on even her worst days.
