I officially have THREE teenagers! Sahmahyah, my #3 is 13 years old today. I love your spirit, your truth, your honesty. I love how you shadow me, and how you are in absolutely NO hurry to grow up too fast. SAHMAHYAH's STORY: I found out I was pregnant with a lot of negative and positive pregnancy tests that lead me to the doctors office. The doctor told me I wasn't pregnant, she said I was just constipated. I went home feeling nauseous, and a week later I took another pregnancy test because I couldn't shake the nausea. The test said I was both pregnant and not. So i went BACK to the doctor, and their test said the same thing. So they FINALLY took a blood test to prove I was INDEED pregnant. 1 week later I miscarried. Our family headed to Texas for a church event the next day, and I JUST couldn't shake the nausea still. 3 days later we were back home, and I immediately went BACK to the doctor because I was still nauseous. They made me take another pregnancy test just to find I was STILL pregnant. That's when we discovered that I had miscarried 1 child, but 1 child was still there. Months later an ultrasound told us we were having a boy, so we prepared for our son. My due date was July 7, 2007. On July 14, 2007 I gave birth to a beautiful baby...GIRL! It took us a couple of weeks to name her because we thought we were having a boy. We thought that YHWH must have protected this child, so we named her Sahmahyah (pronounced Suh-may-yuh) which means "protected by YHWH". You are growing to be such an amazing young lady, and I am honored to be able to call you my daughter. What a blessing you are. I wish I could've been there with you today baby girl. 2019 has come and gone, and I hope everyone had a great holiday season. Me and my family celebrate Chanukah, and it was WONDERFUL🍾. I haven't been active on social media for a little over a month. As some of you know I am a homeschooler, and have been for about 10 years now. Some of you ALSO know, we do NOT school in the winter; so we had to get everyone to where they academically wanted to be, and we did, so here it goes... Reyna/16 yrs/ 12th grade: Reyna turned 16 December 23rd, and is also a Senior in High School with only 3 classes left before she graduates! 🎊 Jei-El/14 yrs/ 10th grade: Jei-El is officially a Sophomore in High School, and she has already started some work at the 10th grade level!🎊 Sahmahyah/ 12 yrs/ 8th grade: Sahmahyah is officially an 8th grader, and I couldn't be more proud!🎊 Chayah/7 yrs/ 2nd grade: Chayah is on the Autism Spectrum, and we have decided to get her onto ABC Mouse to help her in her endeavours. I will continually keep you updated on her as she progresses. Chayah is NOT taking the winter off, so she can have our undivided attention. YEAR: 2003 DATE: December 23rd TIME: 12:59 am My first born was due February 2004. So you can understand why we were so concerned when I went into labor late night December 21, 2003. 😳 The doctors were doing EVERYTHING they could to slow down the labor, and they managed for almost a day; but nothing, I mean NOTHING, was stopping this child from coming. 😳 The doctors were concerned about our daughters lungs be undeveloped, so they gave me a shot in my 🍑 to ensure she could at least take her first breath when it's time. 😳 A few hours later, the time had finally come... 12:59 am on December 23, 2003, Reyna was born, and took her first breath. She was 7 1/2 weeks early, and 5 lbs 10 oz. Although Reyna turns 16 years old today, I will always see her as my little preemie. CHEERS 🍷 BABY GIRL. Another day of homeschooling under our belt. These girls have been working VERY hard. We're kind of counting down the days until we take a break. Most schools take the summer off from school. My house takes the Winter off from homeschooling. This past Winter we weren't able to take the winter off because we go a bit behind (personal reasons). So we had to attend "Winter School". ( equivalence to summer school, but in the winter time) We set a mini summer break for the summer soltice all the way through August 1st, as long as we got completely caught up. These girls were so diligent with their work and getting back on track that they not only did their regular work in the day, but they would also have night class sessions to make SURE they got. Completely caught up, so they could be genuinely ready for their break in June. Today we clean the house!Tonight we reward ourselves with "girls night". Girls night normally consists of some serious SERIOUS girl talk, snacks, and Netflix and/or a "chick flick". I cherish these moments with my daughter's because moments dont last forever, but memories do! Memories are created from moments in time. So my plan is to create as many moments as possible, to have as many memories with these beautiful young ladies as i can 💕.
