Just found and reread a Bowuigi fic I'd started writing in high school (dated October 2017 as the last time I saved!) and I'm so annoyed with myself that I did not used to write notes or make planning docs like I do now. Because I DO NOT remember where I was going with it and I left it on a cliffhanger

#genuinely the best thing i learned from writing fics as a teen was that I CANNOT be a pure by-the-seat-of-my-pants writer #i have to make notes #i need to put those thoughts and ideas somewhere #especially if I have an endpoint in mind #also this is proof to me that I was writing Bowuigi well before the mario movie #2017 probably WAS when I learned about it #i know I took a wild ride in my ships with bowser lol #went through all the princesses and then landed on luigi lmao #but also goddamn i don't remember shit from that fic #i know luigi was supposed to be bowser's roommate #and that's about it #i know some of my plans for this got cannibalized for Neon Lights #but Neon Lights is very much its own thing by now #might still keep Grodus as that weird ex-roommate Bowser hated because I think it's FUNNY #bowuigi #bowser x luigi #luigi x bowser #luwser
